Increase your Income

  • Eliminate optional payroll deductions (bonds, charity, etc.).
  • If you are having your credit union deduct from your paycheck, check with the credit union to see if the deduction can be lowered.
  • Can your elder children or unemployed mate find a job? Could you take a part-time job? Can government cash benefits be applied for (i.e., Social Security, welfare, food stamps, unemployment benefits)?
  • How about a garage sale? Do you have other property or real estate that could be sold at a profit?
  • Are your savings invested at the highest possible interest rate?

We're a nonprofit organization offering debt management and educational programs helping financially distressed families and individuals effectively manage their finances.
